Digestibilidade de raçoes contendo quatro níveis de concentrado, em bovinos (taurinos e zebuínos) e bubalinos - 26(4):844-851

The objective of this research was to compare digestibility coefficients of dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), energy (GE), and protein (CP) in Nellore (NE) and Holstein (HO) cattle, and water buffaloes (BU), fed diets containing 12.5, 25.0, 37.5, and 50 percent of concentrate on a DM basis. Genetic groups did not differ in digestibility of CP, NDF, and ADF. Holstein cattle had higher digestibility coefficients for DM and OM than Nellore and Buffaloes and higher GE than Nellore. There were no differences between NE and BU. There was a linear increase in the digestibility of' GE. DNI. OM, and CP with an increase in level of concentrate in the diet. However, there were no changes in digestibility coefficients for NDF and ADF. The digestibility coefficients for DM, OM, GE, and CP decreased linearly with increasing levels of ADF in the diet. (RA)
