Se realizo un expt. factorial 2 x 3 para el estudio de Brachiaria decumbens y B. ruziziensis en 3 edades (60, 90 y 120 dias), en un diseno de bloques al azar con 4 repeticiones. Se determinaron los contenidos de MS, PC y FC y el rendimiento de forraje (kg de MS/ha). El expt. se realizo en un Latosol rojo- amarillo distrofico de la Escola Superior de Agricultura de Lavras, MG, Brasil, en 1980-81. Los resultados indicaron que, de modo general, el rendimiento de forraje y los contenidos prom. de MS y FC aumentaron a medida que aumento la edad de las plantas, y los contenidos prom. de PC disminuyeron. El rendimiento prom. de MS de B. ruziziensis (9180 kg/ha) fue superior al de B. decumbens (5600 kg/ha). (RA-CIAT) |
