Se utilizo un modelo de simulacion para examinar el rango de posibilidades de produccion de carne que aumente el rendimiento de sistemas extensivos en los Llanos Orientales de Colombia mediante la siembra de pasturas mixtas de mayor digestibilidad inherente que las especies nativas. Se uso la dominancia estocastica generalizada para comparar algunas alternativas prometedoras con el sistema de produccion a base de sabanas no mejorado y entre si. Como se redujeron las perspectivas de programacion de las personas encargadas de tomar las decisiones, la variabilidad (medida como el coeficiente de variacion del rendimiento) se incremento significativamente. El impacto del riesgo en la aceptabilidad a largo plazo de una inversion completa fue limitado. (RA-CIAT) |
