| Summary, etc | Se mencionan algunas gramineas y leguminosas colectadas en el Valle del Alto Magdalena durante la ejecucion del expt. Levantamiento de la flora toxica en el Valle del Alto Magdalena, en el cual se realizaron observaciones y anotaciones de campo. La recoleccion del material vegetal se efectuo durante un periodo de 2 anos en 79 predios ganaderos distribuidos en 12 municipios situados en su mayoria en el piso termico calido del mismo Valle. Con base en los listados obtenidos, se efectua una discusion en la cual se resalta la importancia en la alimentacion del ganado de especies no consideradas tradicionalmente como forrajeras, ya que constituyen una fuente complementaria de energia, proteinas y minerales durante los periodos criticos del ano. De estas especies, algunas son mencionadas en este documento y se hace relacion con estudios bromatologicos respecto de las mismas en diferentes pisos termicos. (RA) |
