Se realizo un ensayo de fertilizacion en una pradera de Brachiaria humidicola establecida 4 anos atras en Carimagua, Colombia, para estudiar el problema de baja calidad forrajera y baja produccion animal de esta graminea, en ecosistemas de sabanas bien drenadas bajo pastoreo. El ensayo, en su primera etapa, consistio en una fertilizacion simple y combinada de 25 y 50 kg de N/ha, y 30, 10 y 10 kg de K, Mg y S/ha, resp. El diseno exptl. fue de bloques al azar con 12 tratamientos de fertilizacion. En la segunda etapa se evaluo el uso de escardillos en el mismo ensayo, incluyendo un testigo sin fertilizar para medir la eficiencia de esta practica. En ambas etapas, se evaluaron la produccion de forraje y el contenido y extraccion de los nutrimentos aplicados. Hubo una respuesta generalizada al N, aunque la interaccion NK (25 y 30 kg de N y K/ha) dio una produccion muy similar a la de 50 kg de N/ha en ausencia de K. (Extracto) |
