Se realizo un expt. en la U. del Tolima (Colombia) para estudiar la relacion clima-planta-suelo utilizando frijol var. Algarrobo. Durante el periodo vegetativo se registraron una precipitacion de 235.3 mm y una radiacion solar de 464.5 h. la nubosidad fue relativamente baja en la mayoria de los dias que duro el expt., lo cual proporciono un buen indice heliotermico en relacion con el fotoperiodismo. La evapotranspiracion fue alta debido a ciertos factores de temp. del aire y del suelo que fueron elevados durante todas las fases del cultivo. se observo que las temp. de 18- 24 grados centigrados son las mas favorables para el cultivo. An expt. was carried out at the U. of Tolima (Colombia) to study the relationship climate-plant-soil using bean cv. Algarrobo. During the vegetative period a precipitation of 235.3 mm and a solar radiation of 464.5 h were recorded. Most days during the expt. were relatively uncloudy, giving a good heliothermic index in relation to photoperiodism. Evapotranspiration was high because of certain air temp. and soil factors that were high during all crop stages. Temp. of 18-24 degrees Celsius are the most favorable for the crop.
