En un expt. efectuado en el Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Mandioca e Fruticultura, Cruz das Almas, Bahia, Brasil, se compararon los efectos de 3 sistemas de labranza en yuca sembrada en surcos dobles. La labranza min. (limitada al area entre los surcos dobles) fue superior a la labranza convencional (toda el area ) en relacion con el rendimiento de raices, brotes y almidon, no. de raices/planta y altura de plantas de 6 y 12 meses. The effects of 3 different tillage systems on cassava planted in double rows were compared in an expt. conducted at the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Mandioca e Fruticultura, Cruz das Almas, Bahia (Brazil). Min, tillage (limited to the area between double rows) was superior to conventional tillage (all over the area) regarding root, shoot, and starch yield, root no./ plant, and the height of 6 and 12 mo.-old plants.
