Igualmente se encontraron materiales moderadamente resistentes, moderadamente susceptibles y susceptibles. Las condiciones que favorecieron el desarrollo de la enfermedad y la infeccion de la planta fueron de alta pluviosidad, HR mayor que 80 por ciento y temp. entre 20-25 grados centigrados. Se recomienda usar materiales resistentes y moderadamente resistentes en regiones con condiciones similares. Evaluations in Feb. and June (4 and 8 mo. after emergence, resp.) indicated that 7 cv., 3 open-pollinated clones, and 19 clones of controlled pollination were resistant. Moderately resistant, moderately susceptible, and susceptible materials were also found. High rainfall, RH greater than 80 percent, and temp. between 20-25 degrees Celsius were found to be ideal conditions for the development of anthracnose and consequently, plant infection. The use of resistant and moderately resistant materials in areas with similar conditions is recommended. (AS)
