Se empaco y almaceno almidon de yuca recien procesado en jarros de plastico, bolsas de polietileno de baja y alta densidad, bolsas de papel, recipientes metalicos, bolsas impregnadas con polietileno y bolsas de yute. El material almacenado tenia 12.5 por ciento de humedad, 46 seg de viscosidad Redwood, ninguna traza de infestacion de insectos, 0.08 x 106 recuento microbiano total/g, y 0.38 x 105 y 2.80 x 103 de poblaciones bacterianas y fungicas/g, resp. Freshly processed cassava starch was packed and stored in plastic jars, low and high density polyethylene bags, paper bags, metal containers, polyethylene impregnated bags, and jute bags. The stored material had a 12.5 percent MC, 46 Redwood viscosity, no trace of insect infestation, 0.08 x 10(6) total microbial count/g, 0.38 x 10(5) bacteria and 2.80 x 103 fungi/g.
