(CIAT) spa
Because of the innumerable genotypes in cassava, efficient evaluation techniques are required for screening. At CTCRI all genotypes with moderate to severe susceptibility to AMD, CBB, bacterial wilt and other undesirable characteristics are discarded immediately. The rest are classified into different groups based on yield, plant growth habit and quality. Data to be recorded for each line are classified as indispensable, highly valuable, valuable and unnecessary. (CIAT) eng
