Summary: Entre 1979-80 se estudio en Cruz das Almas, Bahia, Brasil el comportamiento de 42 clones de yuca. Se utilizo un diseno exptl. completamente al azar con 2 repeticiones y se aplicaron 60, 80 y 60 kg de NPK/ha, resp. Se realizaron evaluaciones en relacion con el peso de las raices y de las ramas y el contenido de almidon. Los clones 13-14, 02-27, 24-22 y 24-42 presentaron las mayores producciones de raices; los clones 02-27, 06-13 y 29-15 registraron los mas altos contenidos de almidon y los clones que produjeron mayores rendimientos en ramas fueron 12-03, 20-05 y 02-27.
