Summary: Se evaluaron 21 var. y lineas de frijol en 40 ensayos durante el periodo 1973-77 en el sudoeste de Sao Paulo (Brasil). Las siembras se realizaron en ambas estaciones lluviosa y seca. Se obtuvieron resultados sobresalientes con H40C1725 (Moruna), H40C1722 (Aroma), H38C1727 (Catu) y H38C1723 (Aete-3). Estos cv. se recomendaron para siembras comerciales en esta region. Plantings were carried out in both rainy and dry seasons. Outstanding results were obtained with H40C1725 (Moruna), H40C1722 (Aroma), H38C1727 (Catu), and H38C1723 (Aete-3).
