Se describen los procedimientos para la identificacion de cv. de frijol, yuca y leguminosas forrajeras mediante el uso de la electroforesis en geles de poliacrilamida como tecnica para determinar en forma indirecta diferencias entre cv. al comparar los productos de la actividad genica, es decir, utilizando las proteinas como marcadores genotipicos. Se describen los procedimientos correspondientes para la identificacion de cv. de frijol como preparacion de la muestra, preparacion del gel, electroforesis, coloracion y fotografia. (CIAT)
The procedures for cv. identification of beans, cassava and pasture legumes by using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis are described as a technique to determine cv. differences indirectly by comparing the products of gene activity, i.e., by using proteins as genotype markers. The corresponding procedure for bean cv. identification is described for sample preparation, gel preparation, electrophoresis per se, staining, and photography. (CIAT)
