Se indican los principales insectos plaga de la yuca en la Provincia de Manabi, Ecuador: Phyllophaga, Mononychellus caribbeanae, Amblystira, Silba pendula y Anastrepha; sin embargo, se enfatiza que solo se deben aplicar insecticidas cuando otros metodos no se encuentran disponibles. Major insect pests of cassava in Manabi Province, Ecuador, are indicated, namely Phyllophaga, Mononychellus caribbeanae, Amblystira, Silba pendula, and Anastrepha. Different control methods are mentioned for each; however, it is emphasized that insecticides should only be applied when other methods are not available.
