Resposta de cultivares eretos de feijao (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) a espaçamentos entre linhas e níveis de adubaçao

By: Contributor(s): Material type: ArticleArticleLanguage: Portuguese Description: 41(235):317-326Subject(s): Online resources: In: Revista Ceres (Brasil)Summary: Two factorial experiments were carried out in Viçosa, state of Minas Gerais, in order to study the effects of row spacings and of fertilization levels on two erect bean cultivars (type IIa). In the first experiment, two cultivars (Negrito 897 and Linhagem 2177) and four row intervals (20, 30, 40, and 50 cm) were used. In the second experiment, with an interval of 33 cm between rows, the same bean cultivars of the first experiment and four levels of fertilization were used; the fertilization levels were 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 times the recommended level according to the soil chemical analysis. It was found that the effect of interval on yield was quadratic, with a maximum yield at the 33 cm interval. Increase of fertilization levels caused a linear increase of the yields, which was associated with an increase of plant lodging
