Efeito da inoculaçao com rizóbio e da adubaçao nitrogenada em sete cultivares de feijao em solo de Cerrado

By: Contributor(s): Material type: ArticleArticleLanguage: Portuguese Description: 18(3):415-420Subject(s): In: Revista Brasileira de Ciencia do SoloSummary: Three field experiments were carried out in 1985, 1986 and 1987, in order to study the response of seven dry bean cultivars to inoculation and nitrogen fertilization. The Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar phaseoli strains used in the inoculants promoted a considerable increase in the dry bean grain yield, with gains from 63 to 290 kg/ha as compared to non-inoculated plants. The cultivars Carioca and Negro Argel showed the highest response to inoculation while CNF-10 was the one with smallest gains. Yield increases with nitrogen fertilizers were higher than the ones obtained with inoculation, indicating the importance of the Rhizobium strain selection work for obtaining strains with high nitrogen fixation efficiency
