Se compararon 4 cepas de Zymomonas mobilis para la produccion de etanol a partir de almidon de yuca hidrolizado enzimaticamente. La cepa NRRL B-4286 presento un buen desempeno, produciendo 80 g de etanol/l de una concn. inicial de azucar de 171 g/l. Four strains of Zymomonas mobilis were compared for ethanol production from enzymatically hydrolysed cassava starch. Strain NRRL B-4286 performed efficiently, producing 80 g/litre ethanol from 171 g/litre initial sugar concentration.
