(RA-CIAT) spa
Path analises of yield attributes and pod yield in french beans comprising 50 genotypes representing wide agroclimatic regions of the worl revealed that more weight has to be given to the no. of pods/plant in selection programs since its direct influence on pod yield is very high and its influence on pod yield through pod length is negligible though negative. Direct influence of pod length on pod yield is moderate while indirect influence through pod no. is not significant. (AS) eng
