Las infestaciones mas fuertes se presentaron durante las etapas vegetativa e iniciacion de la floracion. En consecuencia, la infestacion max. fue durante ene. y feb. La poblacion de trips disminuyo considerablemente de abril a mayo. Es necesario efectuar un estricto control de trips durante los meses pico. Se recomienda fosalona (Zolone 35 por ciento concentrado emulsionable) en dosis de 500, 600 y 700 g de i.a.
