(CIAT) spa
In a controlled expt. carried out at the Crossville Exptl. Station (USA) in 1984, 5 half-runner snap bean cv. (Mountaineer, State, Striped, Pink and White) were examined for their resistance or tolerance to viral diseases. Cv. White, Mountaineer, and State produced a greater mean pod fresh wt./plot and had lower viral disease ratings than cv. Striped and Pink, in both May and July plantings, although in all cv. disease severity was lower in July. (CIAT) eng
