Se han realizado cruzamientos con las var. Valley, NEP-2, Tuscola y lineas mejoradas con arquitectura de la planta deseable tales como 61618, 62424 y 61379. (CIAT); The breeding work carried out with bean var. of the great northern, pinto, pink, and red mexican types in order to adapt them to the conditions of Michigan, USA, are briefly analyzed.
