El consumo de alimentos no fue afectado a ningun nivel. Los pollos de 9 semanas fueron significativamente mas pesados en los grupos que recibieron raciones con un nivel de sustitucion del 30 por ciento. No se encontraron diferencias significativas (P menor que 0,05) en la conversion de alimentos entre los grupos bajo tratamiento.
