La longevidad se determino en hembras y machos adultos. Se determinaron las tasas de desarrollo del parasitoide de P. herreni, Epidinocarsis diversicornis, a 18, 20, 25 y 30 grados centigrados para los periodos comprendidos entre la oviposicion y la formacion de momias y entre la formacion de momias y la emergencia de adultos. Se determinaron las tasas de desarrollo del parasitoide de P. herreni, Acerophagus coccois, para los mismos estadios de vida a 20, 25 y 30 grados centigrados. Se ajustaron las ecuaciones de polinomios derivados del cuadrado min. o las ecuaciones logisticas a cada conjunto de datos (excepto para A. coccois) de manera que las tasas se pudieron interpolar para las temp. entre los puntos observados, para uso en un analisis del impacto de estos parasitoides en la dinamica de poblacion de P. herreni. Los resultados de este analisis se presentan por separado. Developmental rates of the P. herreni parasitoid Acerophagus coccois were determined for the same 2 life stages at 20, 25, and 30 degrees Celsius. Least-squares-derived polynomial equations or logistic equations were fitted to each data set (except for A. coccois) so that rates could be interpolated for temp. between observed points, for use in an analysis of the impact of these parasitoids on the population dynamics of P. herreni. Results of this analysis are presented separately. (AS)
