El tratamiento con maneb dio el mejor control, mientras que el hipoclorito de sodio no fue efectivo en el control de la deterioracion microbiologica. Los hongos de los generos Verticillium, Rhizopus y Fusarium fueron identificados y asociados con la deterioracion despues de 90 dias de almacenamiento. (RA-CIAT)Summary: The control of microbiological deterioration of the cassava var. Sonora, Mantiqueira, and Engana Ladrao was carried out with the use of sodium hypochlorite at 1 percent and maneb at 3 percent. The treatment with maneb gave the best control whereas sodium hypochlorite was not effective in controlling microbiological deterioration. Fungi of the genera Verticillium, Rhizopus, and Fusarium were identified and associated with deterioration after 90 days of storage. (AS)
