La CNAL (Comison Nacional del Alcohol), en Brasil, aprobo en un ano 78 proyectos sobre alcohol: 53 sobre nuevas plantas y 25 sobre planes de ampliacion. Solo 2 de ellos se relacionan con la fabricacion de alcohol de yuca.
