Se trata el efecto de la adicion de nutrimentos (sulfato de amonio o urea, KH2.PO4 y extracto de levadura) en la velocidad de produccion de etanol a partir de suspensiones de almidon de yuca hidrolizado. El medio fermentado aumenta la velocidad de produccion del etanol en el orden de 41 por ciento. No se detectan diferencias en el paso de sacarificacion (realizado a la temp. optima para la enzima) cuando se utilizan las glucoamilasas comerciales preparadas por Novo Industri S.A. This studies deals with the influence of addition of nutrients (ammonium sulphate or urea, KH2.PO4 and yeast extract) on velocity of the production of ethanol from hydrolysis cassava starch suspensions. The fermented medium leads to the increase of the velocity the production of ethanol of the order of 41 percent. There is no detectable difference in the saccharification step (carried out at the optimum temperature for the enzyime) when one utilizes the commercial glucoamylases provided by Novo Industri S.A.
